Rated 5 out of 5 by hoyt#1 from Great series of clothing This Wooltex line of clothing is phenomenal! I have purchased the pants as well as the vest in a couple of sizes for layering purposes. As much time as I spend in the deer season, I needed something warm and quiet. This series does that, great for the bowhunter to keep warm on those windy 30 deg days and below with layering. Highly recommend this line of clothes form SB! Only thing is that the sleeves or back run a little tight for a bowhunter (went up a size which fixed that) and they did not put a safety harness line cut into the back of either the jacket or vest (harness line hangs out the top of the collar, annoys me but what can ya do). May take them in off season to a tailor and have them sew/stitch a harness hole in the vest and jackets. But with that, I still love wearing this series for bowhunting deer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bghunter916 from field tested Nice Mid weight jacket, ordered a size bigger because I wanted to layer underneath so I could use in colder weather without bulk, worked out good enough. Hunted in 10 deg snowy temps and was good for 2 hours before I started to feel cold, not bad just enough to know I needed another layer for longer sitting. The material was soft, blocked air and moisture, comfortable. I did some brush pushing and did notice a few thread pulls from briars but not bad. Camo pattern is excellent, jacket looks great, wears great. I would buy again.

I’m currently sitting in a tree in my new wooltex jacket. 39 degrees this morning and I’m not feeling a bit of cold or wind paired with shield series terratec shirt. I purchased in max1 xt for my region and feel like I blend right in. Love the jacket! I need the pants but they’re never in stock. I NEED THE PANTS!

I needed a heavier layer in a bigger size since I’m still growing . Went with the shield wooltex and I’m very happy, once again. Definitely recommend. Put spandex long underwear on, blocker polar fleece, a down or Sherpa vest, and top it off with this wooltex, you can sit all day with temps in the 20’s.
