Soft fabrics are quiet and comfortable. I’ve wore it out a few time already and I can see this is going to be my favorite turkey hunting jacket.

How warm is it for cool spring mornings in New York 30 degrees

It is very similar to the Silentec jacket. However each person is different. I’m fine with just the jacket in cooler mornings. But it’s never a bad idea to order one size up for possible layering.
