Technology

S3 TECHNOLOGY
Silver ions bind to and penetrate the surface of odor-causing bacteria on contact. Silver ions disrupt the microbe's DNA, preventing the formation of odor and keeping your garments fresher, longer.

WINDBLOCKER TECHNOLOGY
A high performance laminate system that blocks the wind while allowing moisture and perspiration to escape from the inside, leaving you warm and comfortable during those harsh windchills.

Wooltex Pants
I was looking for some "windproof" clothing with some insulation. I came across this wooltex series and bought the vest to try before committing on a jacket and pants.
I liked it and decided to buy the "parka" and pants.
I am a slim guy, 5'10", 170 lbs. 33" waste, 32" inseam.
These peices fit me like a glove. But! The cuffs have very little elastic in them, making it difficult to get my fairly large hands through.
The parka is lengthy making it a snug fit around the hips.
I've walked through some thorny areas wearing these and the thorns have pulled out some white stringy looking material (insulation possibly?).
This clothing is not at all fluffy or pillow like and has some weight to it.
I wouldn't recommend wearing in temp less than 45° F.
Supposedly the windproof layer is on the inside. Not sure why. I'd like to think that the outer layer should be the windproof layer, then the insulation, then the inner liner.
But I guess that's why I'm a hunter and not a clothing designer.
I hope this helps someone.
Good luck.

WoolTex pants
The reason for the 3 stars ... SIZE and MATERIAL STABILITY. I ordered a Medium and the waist was too big. These pants would have fit perfect if they had waist adjusters. I bought a belt specifically for them and all is good. I also notice the material if snagged ever slightly will fray. I've had to clip small frays of material a few times. Will also attract burrs.
Positive side, very warm, nice pockets

Great Pants
Pants feel like pajamas, Button pockets aren't the best for securing items but big enough to hold gear. They run true to size. If you layer properly you'll be warm all day' in 20 to 40 degree weather i was comfortable as i could be.

Excellent Value
I've been running this Wooltex series in mid/late season for whitetail in Minnesota. Been able to fill tags both years. I wear XL most everything else, and purchased XL for this. It does allow for me to layer and maintain movement/flexibility.
It does a good job of knocking down the wind. It operates silently. The pockets are located in optimal locations. I did wind up adding suspenders to the pants for convenience, but overall very happy with my purchase.

THE BEST pants for mid-late season
Literally bought pants from every company out there in order to find the perfect match to my Drake stand hunter jacket which I love. Drakes bottoms are sized horrifically and I'm a normal size/weight not something abnormal. (5'10" 160lbs). I was looking for something deadly quiet and didn't really care about the windproof / waterproof factor since I mainly bowhunt in non rain. Any company who had a pant that they claimed were silent, was not. Any company who also mentioned the word windproof was definitely not silent. Not only are these pants completely silent but they do have a windproof liner inside somehow. Along with the scent control technology, sizing, pockets, and silence these are now my go to pants for mid season with just a base layer underneath, and late season with 2 layers underneath. Wish the matching jacket or parka had some more pockets and a treestand tether port in the back.

Best pants on the market
Literally the warmest pants I've ever used. I use these from hunting bears in Saskatchawan to Whitetails in Indiana. Heavy fabric that keeps you warm. These pair great with the polar weight base layers! Just wish they had a little more stretch in the knees so they aren't as tight when sitting in a tree stand.

New favorite pants.
I love how warm these pants are! I wasn't sure I would like the buttons instead of the usual snaps or zipper but they dont make any noise when opening or closing. The fabric is also really quiet walking to my stand. Just found my new go to hunting pants for mid to late season here in Illinois.

A Pants Worth Bragging About
I absolutely love the Wooltex. Warm, soft and comfortable. Superior zippers and pocket sizes. Paired up with a baselayer this pant will keep you warm in temps down in the 20-30’s with ease. I will never leave my Wooltex behind in the fall/winter when chasing whitetail.

38-40 waist and 34 length what size would you recommend?
With your waist size being in-between our Large and X-Large, we suggest going up a size for fit and layer. We hope this helps!
