Rated 5 out of 5 by JC2626 from Great as a Base Layer Bought to use as a base layer under the dead quiet jacket and predator quest turret jacket. It's going to fit that role really well. It is a snugger fit overall but did not feel uncomfortable by any means. I bought an XL and am 5/10 235 lb so not a skinny guy. The hood area around the neck is snug like others say but the hood is designed to fit snugly around your head. I did not find it uncomfortable at all and actually really like it, but I could see where some others may not prefer that snug fit. If you don't want the snug fit, I would not recommend. The main critique I have is the pictures seem to make it look like a more casual looser fitting hoodie and that just does not describe this hoodie at all. If you want a solid base layer hoodie, this for you. If you want a casual hoodie to wear around town, this probably is not for you.

When received and tried it on was extremely tight fitting and sleeves didn’t reach my wrists. Comments were 50/50 on sizing. Wanted to exchange for a larger size. However to my surprise Blocker doesn’t “currently” do exchanges; you must return on your dime and reorder product on your dime. The hoodie is very well constructed and fleece lined which looks very warm. I do like the snugness of the hood design. Length seems adequate but sleeves are very short. The pattern looks great, glad the replaced the large strikingly yellow logo with a softer gold color on this garment. Would have given it a five star rating if it wasn’t for the sizing issues I have experienced.

Can be used as a layer without adding bulk under a jacket. Thin but warm and super quiet material. NEck fits a little snug because of the cross over in the fabric, and the hood fits snug to the head.
